That said, all usage must follow our Terms of Service. Accounts using unusually high amounts of resources in ways not typical for standard website operation may face restrictions to ensure fair access for all users.

What counts as “normal” usage?

We monitor disk and bandwidth usage to define average behavior across our customers. This helps us identify patterns that fall outside typical use. If your usage is outside the expected range, we’ll contact you with guidance and give at least 48 hours to adjust before any action is taken.

Exceeding normal usage is rare for websites. Issues usually arise when accounts are used for large file storage or sharing, which isn’t the intended use. For those needing more, we offer higher-capacity plans. Reach out if you need a custom solution.

Are there any limits on websites, domains, or email?

Plans offering unlimited websites, domain names, or email addresses allow you to use as many as you like—within the scope of our Terms of Service. While we don’t set hard limits, all features depend on the resources available in your hosting account. For example, email storage counts toward your total disk space.

As long as usage stays within reasonable technical limits and aligns with standard website operations, you’re good to go.

However, to maintain optimal performance and fairness across all users, we require that all resource consumption aligns with standard website activity, as outlined in our Terms of Service. In exceptional situations, accounts consuming excessive server capacity outside of normal usage patterns—such as that of a typical business or personal site—may be subject to limitations or review.

If your site’s bandwidth or disk usage significantly exceeds standard thresholds, our team may contact you with recommendations or requests to optimize your usage. We typically provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to address any resource-related concerns before taking corrective measures.

It is uncommon for websites to exceed normal thresholds unless used for non-standard purposes such as file archiving, large media hosting, or peer-to-peer sharing. These use cases are not covered by standard hosting plans and may violate our Acceptable Use Policy. For instance, email accounts draw from the primary disk space allocation on your plan. While you may create numerous accounts, performance and reliability depend on maintaining sufficient free space. As long as usage remains within the framework of responsible operation and our Terms of Service, users should not encounter system-enforced restrictions on email, domain, or site creation.
